Geetanjali Srikantan

Geetanjali S. Srikantan completed her PhD from CSCS in 2012, on the topic of 'Law, Colonialism and the Religious Place in India'.

 

Geetanjali has received WISCOMP Scholar of Peace of Fellowship 2007 for conducting a study on the legal issues surrounding places of mixed faith, and the Charles Wallace Trust Fellowship for short term research  in the United Kingdom in 2009. he was, with Dattathreya Subbanarasimha, co-organizer of the  conference titled Critical Approaches to the Study of Law and Religion in India in  August, 2008, at the Christ University, where she also presented her paper titled “Orientalism and its Discontents: Reformulating Epistemological Approaches to the Shari’a”
